On March 11, 2023, Ohio Security & Investigations received a report of shots fired at Blank Apartments located at 2831/2841 Blank in Warren, Ohio. Investigator G. Manente #2695 was assigned to the case. The apartment complex is owned by the Blank.

Armed Security Officer Ja’kwan Carter was on security detail at the complex when he heard what he believed to be gun shots coming from building 2831. He saw a male individual run to a vehicle and quickly leave the area. One tenant mentioned that apartment 117 may have been involved, but this claim was not supported by evidence.

There were no reports of property damage or injuries observed or reported at the time of the incident. Warren Police arrived at the scene shortly after 20:00 hrs. to investigate. They spoke to tenants who also heard the possible shots but did not provide any additional information on suspects. Because of the lack of evidence and information, Warren Police did not make a report on the matter. A police record log from that time frame was obtained indicating the contacts made and vehicle registrations relevant to the call. However, no further information has been reported at this time.
