Are you a physician assistant based in Ohio wondering how to renew your license? The process is simple! You just need to fill out a renewal application, pay a $100 renewal fee, and complete at least 100 continuing medical education (CME) hours. It’s worth noting that the Board acknowledges CME credits that are required to maintain your National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification, which is mandatory if you wish to renew your Ohio license. Moreover, you can complete your CME requirements either through in-person conferences or online courses. Additionally, if you need any assistance regarding the renewal process or have any questions, you can always consult the Ohio State Medical Board for guidance. Remember, renewing your license in time ensures that you can continue practicing without any interruptions!

PLEASE READ: Schedule your background check (BCI and/or FBI) conveniently at our Akron, Ohio, office. Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Absolutely no walk-ins are accepted. For greater flexibility, mobile Livescan fingerprinting is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in select areas. Weekend mobile Livescan fingerprinting appointments are also available for a $50.00 fee, payable at the time of service. Please call (800) 949-8521 with any questions.
