BCI (State Database Check) Digital fingerprints are electronically transmitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) for processing and forwarded to the designated recipient. Processing time typically ranges from 24 to 72 hours, depending on factors such as workload, the receiving agency's processing capacity, and the quality and completeness of the submission. Additional considerations, such as outstanding warrants linked to the individual, may also affect the timeline. Once processing is complete, BCI&I generates a response indicating whether a match exists within the state database. This response is securely transmitted to the requesting agency, often via a secure portal or email. It is important to note that a 'no match' response does not confirm the absence of a criminal record but simply reflects that no matching data was found in the Ohio BCI&I database.
FBI (National Database Check) Digital fingerprints are submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I), which processes the data and forwards it to the designated location. Turnaround times vary based on factors such as workload and the complexity of the request, typically ranging from a few hours to several days. Upon completion, results are transmitted electronically to the requesting agency, commonly through a secure portal. A confirmation email is provided to indicate whether a match was found or if the search returned no results. In cases where a match is identified, the requesting agency receives pertinent details regarding the individual's criminal history, in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Depending on the nature of the match and the information provided, further investigation may be required to address specific findings.
Ohio BCI & FBI (Comprehensive Database Checks) Digital fingerprints are transmitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) and subsequently forwarded to the designated recipient. The processing time for this service can take several weeks, contingent upon the workload of both the BCI&I and the receiving agency. Additional factors, such as the quality and clarity of the digital fingerprints, as well as the complexity of the background check, may also affect the timeline. Upon completion, a detailed report is issued, indicating whether any matches were identified in either the Ohio BCI or FBI databases. This comprehensive report includes information on criminal history, such as arrests, convictions, and outstanding warrants. The finalized results are then securely delivered to the requesting entity, which may include employers, licensing agencies, or other authorized organizations.

The Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is a crucial body that plays a significant role in maintaining the safety of Ohio's citizens. One of the many functions of BCI is to carry out background checks, on which the lives of Ohio's people rely on. Every year, BCI processes approximately one million background checks, which is no small feat. The process involves the gathering of fingerprints, which are then diligently scrutinized and compared against a vast database of criminal fingerprints. This comparison is necessary to determine whether there is an existing criminal record on file. This type of check is essential for numerous purposes, such as employment screenings, gun permit applications, or for those looking to volunteer with vulnerable populations such as children, seniors, and those with disabilities. By successfully completing these background checks, BCI helps to ensure that potentially harmful people are not passed through for certain opportunities, thereby enhancing the safety of society at large.
FBI background checks are a crucial step in determining an individual's suitability for a range of positions and industries, providing a comprehensive look at their criminal history and interactions with law enforcement. With access to the FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database, those conducting background checks can gain valuable insights into an individual's character, trustworthiness, and reliability. Whether it be for government agencies, private employers, volunteer organizations, or any industry that requires certain levels of clearance, FBI background checks serve as a vital tool in ensuring the safety and security of our communities. By thoroughly examining an individual's past, these background checks equip decision-makers with pertinent information, allowing them to make informed and thoughtful choices. With their ability to shed light on an individual's criminal history and interactions with law enforcement, FBI background checks are a crucial step in making our society a safer place.

Hired to handle service in Ohio. Did what they said they would when they said they would. Communicated when there were difficulties locating the people to be served. I felt like they actually cared about doing a good job, not just doing a job. Would definitely use them again.
My fiancee and i have used Patrick at Ohio Security & Investigations multiple times ( for servance on custody and divorces both in OH and PA ) and will continue to do so. Fast, thorough, and reasonably priced.
The Sheriff failed to serve my defendant twice, but Ohio Security & Investigations got it done the first day after I hired them! I would definitely work with them again in the future.
Patrick, Brian and the whole team at Ohio security and investigation really came through for me. I was at a loss on how to handle a breakup and kept hearing about how my ex had been cheating and using me the entire time. I got the team started and within 2 weeks they had found a pattern of abusive manipulative behaviors from multiple ex girlfriends. Lying cheating and stealing were a game for him. This whole team took me under their wing and made sure I was safe as they planned and executed the retrieval of my items. I will be forever grateful for my life back.
